Thesis in Google Docs - Zotero Experienced an Error Updating Your Document

Hi everyone,

I am really stuck right now. This morning I planned to write the final section of my thesis, but whenever I try to include a citation in Google Docs, I get the message "Zotero Experienced an Error Updating Your Document."

Even in a completely blank Google Doc, I get the same error message.

I believe it may be a problem with the Zotero Connector, Report ID: 1915636232
The Connector is Version 5.0.110

Please provide any help you can. I have done the basics of restarting the Zotero app, restarting the Chrome browser, and trying to delete portions of the text to locate suspected broken citations. If there is any other way to find a broken citation, I would be keen to try as my document is currently 70 pages and going through it would not be ideal at this stage.

Thank you in advance.

Olivia

It seems that Google is throttling requests from you. If you have been refreshing your Zotero citations multiple times in the document, changing citation styles or similar, it may have triggered too many requests to Google, and they are temporarily limiting your access. It should resolve itself after some time without activity.
