Change of password- not syncing

Hello,
I changed my online password yesterday and my desktop application stopped syncing.
The error that i get is "Request timed out". See below
How can I update the information in the app?
The only option I see is to unlink and relink the account.
But I'm not sure if I'll lose data if I do so.

  • No, don't unlink the account. "Request timed out" means Zotero can't talk to the Zotero servers. This is a problem with your network connection, not a problem in Zotero, and it's not in any way related to your password.
