Closing Tabs - Not The Application
You can use the Ctrl+W keyboard shortcut (or whichever for your system) to close a tab in an open document.
But if you want to close multiple tabs and use Ctrl+W more than once, the second time will close the entire application. This happens because after closing one tab, the focus is shifted back to the library instead of the next open document tab.
I think it's annoying behavior that differs from other tab-based UI like browsers.

dstillmanIn the next beta, Ctrl-W won't close the window on the first tab if multiple tabs are open.
