Upgrade StorageText entered after citation is deleted when refreshing

I'm using all the newest Beta plugins for FF(lates version) and OpenOffice(latest version).
Now I'm finally done with my document and starting to clean up(layout, spelling etc.) I noticed that on all citations at the end of a paragraph all characters written after the last citation are deleted when refreshing the bibliography.
I don't know if that is intentional, fact is I don't want the citation to be the last thing on my paragraph (mostly dots and quotation marks are being delted).
Does anyone have a clue why this happens and what to do about it?
