Hello. I need your help because I can't get Zotero to automatically insert "Ibid." for repeated references. I'm using the APS 7th edition style. Is there a way for Zotero to automatically include "Ibid." when it's needed? Thank you.

Assuming you mean APA 7th edition, the Manual doesn't use ibid (and never has) -- in fact, in the English-language tradition, ibid is basically never used for parenthetical citation styles. Why would you need this?

I mean -- it's definitely not in APA style. They are quite explicit about that. You can do it manually or you can adjust the citation style.

gideonnoss answered your question quite well: it's an academic thing. In my University ibidem is something that is expected to be used, no matter what the recommendations say about that. It would be nice if I could use it with APA style. And no, I don't want to adjust it manually; I want it to be done automatically.

Ibid is a feature of the CSL citation style. There are some author-date styles (mainly among those used in German) that use it, so you can use those, but if you want APA with ibid, you'd have to adapt it yourself.
