Tags not syncing

Hello,

I established a shared group and new tags that I am adding to my library are not syncing to the group library. The tag option is checked and I am syncing. Can anyone help me troubleshoot?

    It's not showing in my group typology folder. I do not see it.

    In other words, I added a tag to my library and would expect it to sync with the same record in the shared group library.

    Do you see it in the Tags pane on the right if you view the item online? What's the zotero.org URL of the item?

    Have you reloaded the online library?

    I should have two tags. And, I only see one--and not the one I added.

    How do I reload the online library?

    That's not a zotero.org URL.

    You reload the way you'd reload any page in your browser.

    It's just the zotero.org URL you see in your web browser — again, the same as any webpage.

    I added about 20 tags sine 4/23 and none of them have made their way to the group library, hence the question.

    Wait, there's some confusion here. Your debug output shows you adding a tag to an item in your personal library, not your group library, and therefore the auto-sync is only for the personal library. There's nothing related to the group logged here.

    So, let me ask this--if I add a tag to my personal library, does it sync to my group library? If I add a new article it will automatically sync. What are tags? I am so sorry if my questions are ridiculous.

    No, items in different libraries are totally separate. Sorry, I thought you were asking about syncing to the online library — that's always what we mean when we refer to "syncing" here.

    Links between items dragged between different libraries are tracked behind the scenes, and we hope to offer ways to apply changes across libraries in a future version, but for now you'd have to either make changes in the group library directly or delete from the group library any items you changed and re-drag them to apply changes you've made in your personal library. (You obviously wouldn't want to do the latter if other people have added PDF annotations, notes, etc., to those items in the group library.)
