Can't get Zotero to work with ERIC

Noticed that the ERIC site was just recently added on July 18th (great). However, when I'm in ERIC and click on a search result to get the citation - no icon in the address bar. Clicked to get the full text article - still no icon. Tried re-installing Zotero - did not help. I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.5 (latest release) and Zotero 1.0.0b4.r5. Help.

For now, try the URL http://www.eric.ed.gov instead of http://eric.ed.gov. Zotero should be working for http://eric.ed.gov in a few days or so...
  • Neither http://www.eric.ed.gov nor http://eric.ed.gov work with zotero. In fact, it was the first link that I was using when I reported the problem.
  • Hi fpmcnel,

I just tried out the ERIC translator again and it worked with http://eric.ed.gov. Are you using a proxy server?

    yours,
    Trevor
  • Neither http://www.eric.ed.gov nor http://eric.ed.gov work for me either. Is there some setting to update or change in Zotero or ERIC?
  • hmm, strange

I captured several items form ERIC earlier today and http://eric.ed.gov/ worked fine. Could you post a example of a URL and the name of the item you are trying to capture. We can hopefully figure out what is keeping some people from grabing things from ERIC.
