Is it possible to choose a citation processor in Zotero?

Hi,

I'm working on styles for my institution. I might need a modified citation processor for local needs (e.g., Name-part Order when non-Romanesque and Romanesque names are mixed in a bibliography item).

Is it possible to choose a citation processor other than the default one in Zotero?
  • I explored myself and found a way to change the citation processor from citeproc-js to citeproc-rs.

    Advanced > Config Editor > extensions.zotero.cite.useCiteprocRs

However, this is not what I wanted to ask in the original post. Let me introduce the background a little bit. I found an issue regarding the way of handling the Name-order of Romanesque names for translated books in Japanese.

Therefore, I issued a pull request today as follows. However, I don’t know if this is an appropriate way to propose a change and what is a good way to use my local fix in the meanwhile with locally installed Zotero and Jurism.

It would be appreciated if you can give me any advice on this matter. Thank you very much in advance.
