Ibid on a new page in Word plugin

My school citation format is based on Turabian 8th. It requires that whenever a citation is the same as the one before it, use Ibid. (this is familiar for many citation styles).

However, Ibid should never be the first or only reference on an individual page. Is there a way I can force Zotero to use the short form of the citation when it is the first or only citation on a new page?

Forgive me if there is more information needed, I will provide any extra details as required!

Zotero doesn't know where a page ends and starts, so this is not possible.

You can turn off ibid completely and that style already exists.

Alternatively, there is the near-note-distance setting that has a default of 5. You could lower that and see if it makes a difference.

You can also just modify the citation manually -- that'll take 5secs for a short citation -- just like any manual setting, it would stop auto-updating of citations (which is why it's generally not a good idea), but it's an option.
