Is it possible to add public, closed membership groups on zotero desktop client without joining?

I am wondering if it is possible to view the articles from a public, closed membership groups on zotero desktop client without joining the group formally?

Anyway we can see those the articles on the zotero web. Just showing the same information on the desktop client would be great!
