I'm using Zotero 2.0b7.6, Firefox 3.5.6, Windows XP

I'm uploading a large RIS file with notes and attachments (though I've also tested this with smaller portions of the file with the same result) to a Group Library.This has been reproduced a few times after restarting firefox. Steps taken to reproduce this error below:
1. Click "Import"
2. Select appropriate .txt file (a .txt file converted from EndNote with appropriate file paths)
3. Zotero shows "Importing items..." dialogue box, then displays message "An error occurred while trying to import the selected file. Please ensure the file is valid and try again."

thanks in advance for any thoughts you have. I uploaded a similar .txt file earlier today without a problem.

Still having the same exact error message 3 days later. At some point 3 days ago a few of the references in question showed up in my library, but only a small portion. Any thoughts?

I resolved the original issue of uploading the files to my group library. The issue was that the original EndNote library contained about 10 references that had multiple file attachments and one reference with a long note, and both of these didn’t import properly into the text file. In both cases each line item was not preceded with a categorization code and therefore did not import properly into Zotero. I went back and manually changed all attachment line items from Format-A to Format-B

Format-A

L1 - file:// ...file1.pdf
file:// ...file2.pdf

Format B

L1 - file:// ...file1.pdf
L1 - file:// ...file2.pdf

and all note line items from Format-C to Format-D

Now I'm having sync issues, and I'm not sure if they are related.
