Minor Bug: Built-in PDF reader sidebar not updating with current PDF details

edited April 29, 2023
When a user has one or more PDFs open in the built-in PDF reader and opens another PDF, the right-hand pane sidebar with record details does not update to display the details (Item Type, Title, Author, etc) of the newly opened PDF.
Instead, it continues to display the details of the most recently viewed open PDF.
To update the sidebar with the correct record details, the user must click on another tab (either Library or another PDF open in the reader).

Steps to reproduce:

Open Zotero, add multiple PDFs to the library.
Open a PDF in the Zotero Reader.
Open another PDF in the same reader.
Observe that the sidebar with record details displays information from the previously viewed PDF.
Click on another tab (either Library or another PDF open in the reader).
Observe that the sidebar with record details now displays information for the currently viewed PDF.

Expected result:
The sidebar with record details should update to display the information for the newly opened PDF without requiring the user to click on another tab.

Actual result:
The sidebar with record details continues to display information from the previously viewed PDF until the user clicks on another tab.

Impact:
This bug could be frustrating for users who want to quickly view the details of a PDF they just opened. They may not notice that the sidebar is displaying the details for a previously viewed PDF and may miss important information. Additionally, this bug could impact the workflow of users who frequently open and view multiple PDFs in the Zotero Reader.

Workaround:
Clicking on another tab (either Library or another PDF open in the reader) will update the sidebar with the correct record details.

Zotero version: 6.0.26
