After reinstalling the release version of Zotero 6, will the preferences be preserved?

Hi, I am on Zotero Beta, I want to reinstall the release version of Zotero 6, as suggested. The message that pops up on Zotero says that, if I do so, all data will be saved. But does that include plugins, preferences... or will I have to rebuild my setup from scratch?
