Issue syncing between devices

Hello,
I am having trouble syncing between my phone and my computer. I can access my PDF on my phone and through the website, but I can't access it on my computer. My debug ID is D364229620.

When I try to open the file it reads "The attached file could not be found at the following path:"

I tried troubleshooting based off of this link: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/files_not_syncing, but had no success.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  • Start by updating to the latest version of Zotero — you're a few versions behind. If the problem still occurs, provide another Debug ID for Zotero startup through trying to open a file, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option.

  • You have file syncing disabled in the Sync pane of the settings.
  • Thanks. I believe I updated that and am still having a problem. Checked on my iphone and it says I am syncing through Zotero, so still not sure what is happening. Thank you so much for the help!

    That file has just never been uploaded from the device where it was added. See Files Not Syncing again — you wouldn't be providing a Debug ID from this device if you followed those steps precisely.
