How to save a 'simple search'

I know it's possible to save an 'Advanced Search' but is it possible to just save a 'Simple Search'?

Sometimes I just want to search for a term like 'NSB' in whatever field, note or attachment it appears.

    You can't save a simple search. If you really wanted to you could set up an advanced search that matches "any" and set it for any of the fields you think your term might fit in. I would hazard to guess that you are really only picking up the term in 5-10 fields.

    You are right and for one or two that would be possible but more would be rather tedious.
