Upgrade StorageShorten Org Titles as reference in APA
Is there a way to automatically shorten organizations such as the CDC automatically in the in-text citation?
For example, I firstly typed out the whole name of the organization in a citation followed by a bracket with the shortened name (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention [CDC], 2020). Can zotero automatically make all the following references as just (CDC, 2020) instead having to unlink and manually modify each citation?

bwiernikThis is not something that can currently be automated in CSL. My recommendation (as someone with many publications in APA journals where I’ve done this) is to ignore the strict rule from the APA manual and just put the abbreviation as the author and the full name of the org as the publisher. That way, the abbreviation is used throughout in text and the full name is still present in the reference list.
