Zotero item selector doesn't work

I tried to using Zotero item selector to add multiple items in a professor's google scholar profile page, after I select the items (check the box) and click "ok", it keep showing:
"An error occurred while saving this item. See Troubleshooting Translator Issues for more information." and my folder in Zotero is still empty

Does it work on regular Google Scholar search result pages?

If not, this is likely due to Site Access Limits.
