Cannot edit bibliography

when I edit bibliography, its sequence number changes!!!

    Generally you shouldn't be editing the bibliography manually. Describe in detail what it is that you are trying to achieve.

    I am not editing it manually. I edited bibliography till number 14. At number 15, the sequence changes automatically, and reference shifts to the end of list and the next reference becomes number 15

    You still need to provide more details. Can you reproduce this in a new document? Can you describe step-by-step what you're doing, what happens and what you expect to happen? Provide details about items that you cite.
