Im using Vancouver, i figured out that it shortens the page numbers but my university will not allow this so if I can’t stop it I will have to copy everything and edit in hand
There is/was a Vancouver style that did not shorten the pagination. I don't recall the correct version name and the Hogue example (in the Zotero style repository) doesn't provide a useful distinction to allow a user to find the correct one.
That said, I may be misremembering this and I may have used a Vancouver style that I modified. I'm using a tablet to type this so I can't easily say how to modify the style to show the full page range. However, someone else should from memory be able to tell you how to make that change. @damnation
@adamsmith said: We have an "Imperial College London - Vancouver" style that uses page-range-format="expanded". The main Vancouver style uses page-range-format="minimal" to follow the NLM guidelines.

Edit: I found the proper style / edit by searching the forum.
