Gender agreement error in Spanish, Chicago Style, presentation

Hi. I'm referencing an unpublished conference paper in Spanish, but there is an agreement error. In Spanish, the participle agrees in gender with the noun. Thus, the reference should read "ponencia [feminine noun] presentada [femenine]", not "ponencia [feminine noun] presentado [masculin]." Can this error be corrected? I'm using Chicago Style, 16th edition, both author-date and notes and bibliography.

I'm afraid I don't see how -- we can change the gender of terms in general, but "ponencia" comes from the 'genre' field in your Zotero, which could also take masculine nouns (póster, say), so there's no correct gender for presentado/a here.
