Zotero Connector Not Saving into Zotero

I've just downloaded both Zotero and Zotero Connector and the icon is there to the right of my search bar and when I click on it, it displays 'Saving To' 'My Library' but when I go into Zotero nothing is there. I don't know what to try next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm using a Mac

    Does it actually display an item title in the save popup?

    And just to be clear, you're looking in the Zotero app, not in your online library?

    Can you provide a Debug ID from Zotero for a save attempt?

    Yes, it is coming up with an item title in the save popup.

    And I am looking in the online library - where should I be looking? I saw somewhere I needed to save Zotero into Applications - is this the same as App Store on my Desktop? Sorry, not overly tech savvy.

    You should be looking in the Zotero app that you already have open on your computer, which is why the Zotero Connector is saving there.
