To cite from text formatted to columns

Zotero 6.0.22 + LO Writer 7.4 + .odt file

Actually the desire was to make few citation in table (2-columns, many rows one) added to .odt document (Writer - menu Table - Insert Table).
One had however learned here it may be heavy job to achieve this to work in durable way.

Any other Writer formatting measures to use instead of table which citing can work with?
I tried to add dedicated section to document where text is formatted to 2-columns. It is hard however to fill 2 columns with intended content as easy as it is for table.

I will try it using 2 tab stops, no section, no columns, etc

You can use columns with column breaks (Insert -> More Breaks -> Insert Column Break).
