Formating of the references in the body of the text
Hello,
I face some issues with the formatting of the references in the text.
I have a 500p document with plenty of references in the text, but when I change the format of the style "normal" to Times New Roman, the references remain in Arial. The references are in "normal" style but do not adapt. I was wondering if anyone could help with that since it would be good not to have to edit the formating manually on the 500p.
Many thanks

I have followed thouroughly the instructions on the page you suggest.
I have selected a Zotero citation (which was in normal style, like the rest of the text) and changed the format of the style to "Times New Roman" to reflect to reflect the changes in the rest of the text (which is also in normal).
The result does not function: the text is still in Arial, while, when I click on the style it shows Times New Roman as selected format. There is therefore a discrepancy between the text and the style.
If I then click on the Normal style while the text is selected, it would change the text to Times New Roman, but that would only affect the selected citation, and not the other citations in the text.
(I use the latest version of Word on Win11 btw)
1. Start a new document
2. Write some text and add one Zotero citation
3. Change the "Normal" font in the style galllery
--> The typed text changes to the new font, the citation doesn't. The only way I have found to update the citation font is to select & change the paragraph font (which is indeed a bit annoying in a longer document when you're using other fonts for headings etc.)
1. Select replace in the Main tab
2. Select font of the "search for": original font that you want to replace (and no text)
3. Select font of the "replace by": font of the rest of your text
4. Click on "replace all"
Et voilĂ . It keeps the Zotero references, but change them into your desired font...
