Mac Download Trouble

I have a new mac running OS 13.2.1 (22D68) and I just downloaded Zotero 6 and I can't seem to open the application. I get a gray box with a gear icon that is totally blank and button that says done.

Any advice?

A dialog with a gear is likely from macOS, not Zotero — not exactly this, but similarly related to Rosetta: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/420835/#Comment_420835
