Why can't I drag folders from personal library to group library?

I have WebDav set up on my own server, so storage should not be an issue. I want to back up my personal library as well as share it in a group library. Do I really have to go into each sub-folder and grab each item and re-structure my personal library by hand in a group library?

    Yes, because collection dragging hasn't yet been implemented.

    Can I ask why it has not been implemented, or when it is likely to be implemented?

    Because not every feature that's been requested by users has been implemented. In this case, it won't happen for 2.0, which is feature-frozen, but it will probably happen eventually.
