Need help with editing my style

Hello,

My institution requests that notes within the text be with [ ] and currently is with () (like shown in this screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/57wlrWs.png )


How can I edit the style to fit my needs?

What style are you starting with?

In the “citation” section of the style, on the line starting with layout, you will see prefix="(" and suffix=")". Change those to prefix="[" and suffix="]"

Which style are you using? There are various numeric styles with brackets already: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=bracket
