Zotero, Chromebook and Word Office365 version
Hello,
I am a librarian looking to help a student who wanted to use Zotero with her Chromebook and Word Office 365 version provided by the university.
I managed to install Zotero on her Chromebook by following this procedure: https://github.com/retorquere/zotero-deb
It worked well.
But when she opens Word, she cannot find the Word plugin in the toolbar. I thought it must be the Office365 version that was causing the problem (I see this problem quite often). So I wanted to try this tip : https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/73354/how-to-use-zotero-plug-with-word-365
But I think that because she has a Chromebook she only has the online version of Word (so I can't find an "Option" menu in Word). I also looked here but I don't see anything that fits her case : https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_manual_installation
Do you see a way to fix it or is this the most you can do with a Chromebook? At the moment I've advised her to create a bibliography from the documents in her collection, copy it to the clipboard, then paste it into a Word document, but that doesn't handle in-text citations.
Thanks in advance for your help !

Quick Copy can copy citations as well as bibliographies, though it's obviously not as sophisticated as the word processor plugins.
