move dark mode in house

I'm not sure how wise it is to leave dark mode development to a third-party add-on like Night for Zotero with unreliable attention. As Zotero develops, this add-on is not keeping up (see split pdf issues, notes issues, and no dark mode for the very useful 'Open Pdf in New Window'). I wish that Zotero would take this over themselves.

IIRC a future version of Zotero built on a later version of Firefox will have dark mode capabilities available out of the box
