Feature idea: reference peeker

I keep scrolling up and down with the PDF to the references and my text. Sometimes I open another PDF viewer for just that. What if there would be a way to quickly browse the references while reading a text? Especially older PDFs without links don't have the functionality to click 'BACK'.

    Better ways to do this are planned, but you can right-click on the PDF and choose Split Horizontally to keep the references open in a separate pane while you read.
