Accessing PDFs in a Zotero Group Library while offline

Hi,

I'm helping someone who is using a Group Library with attached PDFs for a project. Another team member had created the group and added the PDFs using Zotero cloud storage.

1. Will my researcher be able to access these PDFs in a group library even if offline?
2. If they're not accessible, would it be recommended to download PDFs and have them stored locally?

If the group library is synced and syncing files is set to "at sync time", files are accessible offline, yes. With sync set to "as needed," only previously opened files would be available offline (that's what "as needed" means here).

Obviously the web version of the group library isn't accessible without an internet connection.
