zotero does not comunicate with word for Mac 2011 and plugin does not appear

I tried to reinstall add ons, it asked me to download java kit which i did and then add ons were installed. I relaunched both zotero and word 2 or 3 times and still tha tool bar of zotero does not appear..please help because i am finishing my thesis! Many thanks in advance!

You're misunderstanding something. Java doesn't have anything to do with Word — it's only for LibreOffice.
