Error: 'setState'

Error: PDF.js v2.8.0 (build: fdde957)

My Zotero directory is in my C: drive, not a cloud service. I recently migrated it back from iCloud after getting this error and perusing the forums. I've got Zotero's cloud storage service for syncing my library. I keep getting this error message when I open a particular record. Doesn't seem to happy on any others. Corrupted PDF somehow?

    Win error 5 during operation open on file C:\Users\[…]\Zotero\storage\SISU3DME\.zotero-pdf-state (Access is denied.
    There may be a permissions problem in that folder. You should check the permissions from File Explorer.

    All the permissions on the folder are the same as other folders around it. I don't see a .zotero-pdf-state file in the SISU3DME folder, or any of the others. Maybe it's hidden?

    Yes, files beginning with a dot are hidden. You can show hidden files, or you can try moving the PDF out of that folder, deleting the folder, and then dragging the PDF back.

    Zotero itself wouldn't do this, but this is often caused by security software on the system interfering with file permissions.
