Missing Permission for Word on mac
Hello,
I am using Microsoft Word v16.70 on macOS Monterey v12.6.3.
I am new to Zotero. When using Zotero in Word and I click on Add/Edit Citation, I get Missing Permission with steps to go to:
1. Open System Settings
2. Select “Privacy & Security” in the left column
3. Select “Automation”
4. Find “Zotero” and click the arrow to expand it
5. Make sure “Microsoft Word” is enabled under “Zotero”
Unfortunately, “Zotero” cannot be found after clicking Select “Automation”
I have uninstalled then installed both Word and Zotero then emptying trash but without success.
I also tried on another user account with no luck.
No luck either after using : sudo tccutil reset All
Please advise.

adomasvenMacOS is responsible for displaying a prompt about Zotero needing automation permissions for Word. If it is not, and you are not seeing a Zotero entry in Automation even on a new user account, it's likely there's some issue with your macOS installation. First thing to try would be to upgrade macOS to the latest version.

dstillman(To be clear, there's no general problem running Zotero on Monterey, and 12.6.3 is the latest version of Monterey — we just don't have any way of fixing this if the "tccutil reset" command doesn't help, so upgrading to Ventura is about all we can suggest.)
