Zotero macOS word plugin problems

Hello,

I have tried using Zotero word plugin and followed instructions. I copied "dotm" file to Word startup map. After that I opened Word and it didn't work. So I tried reinstalling the add-on and it still didn't work. I also checked if plugins are enabled and they are.

Could anyone help me what I am supposed to do now? Why does't it work? Did I not see anything that I should?

I tried everything but it doesn't work yet. Can anyone help :(

Okay, firstly I downloaded both Zotero software and Zotero connector. After that I checked if the add on works on Word but it haven't (I read somewhere that Word add-on must work when downloadin the software automatically yesterday). Because it didn't work I copied the dotm file in Word start-up map on my mac. Nothing happened after that.

So because nothing actually worked I also tried disabling and enabling back again the add-ons. Nothing changed after that too. I also tried re-downloading the software but everything was same.

Did you see the instructions specific to your version of Word? https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#zotero_tab_does_not_appear_in_the_word_2016_ribbon

Okay, thanks everyone for help I needed to put .dotm file not only in start-up folder but also in templates folder of my Word. Now it works :)

No, it only needs to go in the Startup folder. But your Startup folder may not be set to the default location.
