Using Zotero behind a proxy

I'm fairly confused about how to use Zotero behind my companies proxy. I can configure it in the settings, but it's till not going anywhere. Neither can I retrieve meta data nor can I connect to my account for synch.

Can anybody tell me what I'm missing?

We can't provide much beyond Connection Error, but you can share that with your IT department and they should be able to help you configure it as necessary.

@IAA11: Same answer. There's no general answer here — your proxy setup is obviously going to be different from someone else's. The linked page explains how to adjust this.
