Editing citations in Microsoft Word

Hi there, how can I edit how citations appear inside a Word document when I've added them through Zotero? E.g. using CMS author-date, let's say I need to edit a citation to appear as Dessein (2007) because I'm using it as a noun in a sentence vs. (Dessein 2007)?
