Zotero extremely slow on most operations including scrolling through articles

I've recently experienced zotero being quite slow on simple actions such as scrolling through an article--it will get to a certain point then lag and prevent any actions from occurring. This is happening with every article I'm viewing on mac.

    Can you reproduce this after restarting Zotero? If so, can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through reproducing the problem, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?

    I tried restarting it a few times but never with that "restart with logging enabled option". I will do so later! Thank you for the suggestion I didn't realized it existed. Will follow up later.

    To be clear, that’s not a fix for anything. It’s just to give us a clean debug log.

    Yeah I know--just wasn't aware I could start logging from launch like that.

    Unable to reproduce the problem as of now, will follow up with that method if it happens again. Thanks!!
