Add Bibliography Function not working in google docs

I am trying to insert a bibliography on google docs and keep getting the "zotero experienced an error updating your document" message. I tried putting into a new document and restarting zotero. I have over 250 footnotes so I thought that I also tried it with a smaller chunk of my paper and even with just one citation
