Problem with editor field in OVID records and syncing group library

Hi there my group library won't sync as a result of errors due to editor fields being too long (and they aren't actually even relevant).

I have hundreds, maybe thousands of records. How do I resolve this without individually removing the editor field in each record?

I see this issue posted several times and have never seen a full resolution.

    Just following up again - how does anyone do big imports from OVID into a group library? My only solution would be to go through individually the many hundreds of records I have and delete the editor field. Does someone know a better work around?

    I tried using some of the code and now I'm getting error after error after error. Not sure what to do next. These are a couple of the errors. Still having too long for the creator name, among other things.

    (Please don't post on the same issue to multiple threads.)
    I tried this for the same issue with the editor field being too long. I would like to just remove all those ones with the error but don't know how to do that.

    I tried that last set of code you sent and it brought back this return value:

    Any thoughts? I have posted this issue also as a new query several days ago but no one is answering it.
    That would just means the item you ran it on didn't have any long creators. As I explain in that thread, it only runs on the items you've selected in the items list.
