How do I enter Editors and Authors in Zotero?

My resource has general editors as the primary. Then the content is divided into part 1 and part 2, each part with 4 or more authors.

How is this entered into Zotero?

BTW, I don't understand "Short Title?" Do you have a guide on how to interpret and use each of the fields when adding an Item?

    Not sure I understand the first question entirely (how would that item be cited or can you link to a library catalog holding it) but for the general question: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/edited_volumes_and_book_chapters

    Short title is a short version of a work's title, which is often used for subsequent citations in footnote styles. In many cases, but not necessarily, it's the first part of the title, without subtitle.

    The first question is this.... I have a book with two general editors of the book overall, and then the book is divided into two parts with 4 or more authors of each part. I don't see a field for editors so I'm confused on how to enter editors for a source since general editors fall into a different part of the footnote?
