[iPadOS] importing IEEE explore articles through ezproxy broken
When I open an article from IEEE explore through an ezproxy on the iPad and then import (“share”) it to Zotero, Zotero doesn’t recognise the article correctly and instead imports it as a link to a web page.
Importing it without the ezproxy works, but then Zotero can’t get the pdf for articles that are behind a paywall.
Example:
I can import the metadata from https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/abstract/document/9893496 without the pdf by opening the page in Safari and then doing Share -> Zotero
When I open it through https://ieeexplore-ieee-org.ezproxy.library.sydney.edu.au/document/9899480 (requires an institutional log in, so please test it with an ezproxy you have access to) and do Share -> Zotero, Zotero offers to import a web link.
Importing items through ezproxy works for other sites (e.g., Springer), so I assume that it’s meant to work,

The developers recommend importing articles from the article page rather than the opened PDF, which can be inconvenient: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/89248/ios-beta-no-title-and-metadata-what-i-am-doing-wrong
Feature Request: PDF metadata retrieval for directly importing PDFs via Share or upload on iOS.
