Create new document type

Hi - Very new to this software. I will be adding a lot of advertisements as sources. Advertisement does not seem to be a document type and I don't readily see a way of creating new document types.
Is there a way to ad a new document type to this dropdown?
I would ad a screen shot of this but this doesn't seem to be possible.

No, there is no way to create custom item types. I'd recommend just using something generic for ads. Depending on what they are and how you need to cite them, video, document, newspaper article, or magazine article might all be appropriate.
