references in the list of bibliography are not found in the text?

I have for example 17, 18, 19 references in the list of references at the end of the article but I can not find these references in the text. I tried to remove them from zotero bibliography and refresh/update but both the text and the list of references have not these numbers 17, 18 and 19 so zotero lists 16 directly 20.

Looks like you might have some stray citations still in your text. Turn on field codes and look for those citations, then delete anything related to them..
