Normalize displayed dates?

On the main pane of Zotero, I've started to display the "date" column and found that some entries use the format "September 24, 1981" and some "1981/09/24".

Is it possible to unify the display format? I don't want to edit each entry.

    Quite right! Thanks! The thread includes the following comment:
    Fully parsed dates will be normalized to a uniform format in a future version.
    which was made in April 2022. So, it seems that it's a matter of waiting.

    I really hope this is still in the roadmap, and that progress is being made. It's really hard to quickly parse a list that looks like this. (Taken from a collection I have open right now.) Yes, it's in date order, but from a UX standpoint it's not great. It seems like this shouldn't be a major lift--the date already gets formatted for bibliographies.
