Zotero keeps Deleting my Files Randomly

Writing a thesis. I will add a source to zotero, both from online or add one myself manually as a book. Next day I will search for it, and it is completely gone. What can I do? Any help would be appreciated. This is killing me right now....!

    Zotero only deletes items if you delete them. I'd guess that you're either misremembering or looking in the wrong place. Check the library root. If you deleted something manually, it would be in the trash (unless you also emptied the trash).
