Is that possible for zotero to create a new subcollection for all the cited papers?

I like zotero very much and I have been using it to write my papers. but I wonder if it is possible for zotero to create a new subcollection for all the cited papers? I remember that endnote had achieved this function. When I open my paper and my endnote, it will automatically created a new group/subcollection for all I cited in my opened Word. I think it is a very useful function but I don't know how to do that in zotero. Or if it's possible to achieve that by any add-ons?

It's long been planned, but I don't believe it's on the super-near term list of features.
You can use https://rintze.zelle.me/ref-extractor/ to select all cited items from a paper in Zotero and can then manually move them to a collection.
