[Feature request] Shortcut: New (child) note

Dear all,
I'm almost certain that this has been requested before, but I couldn't find any related entry in a quick(!) search.
I'm taking notes from a book at the moment and it would be extremely convenient if my hands could rest on the keyboard. I was wondering if there is any shortcut to create new notes, especially child notes?

Yep — Ctrl-Shift-O / Cmd-Shift-O.

This does not seem to be working for Zotero v9.0.5. I changed it to Ctrl-Shift-P to check for conflicts. Still it does not work.

Still works in general. Restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins.

It does work in Troubleshooting mode. Two other observations.
1) There is a conflict with Zutilo
2) one can only add a note with the shortcut when viewing the library and not when viewing the PDF
