Right pane shows "File not found" instead of reference's added notes

Report # 2075596500

This affect the contents of all my local library references (587 objects). I can neither see existing manually introduced notes (hundreds of them) nor add new ones. Very annoying because it hampers my normal work.

This was triggered by the 6.0.3-1 -> 6.0.20-1 update on Linux platform w/ kernel 6.1.9.
Cheers.

How did you install Zotero? You're getting some bizarre errors that we've never seen before. You should test with the official tarball or zotero-deb. We can't provide support for any other packages.

https://github.com/zotero/zotero is where i started and https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/client_coding/building_the_standalone_client where i followed instruction for the build. Your suggestion to use a .deb package simply falls flat for non `apt-get` users on Linux so the tarball is the way to go for those.

This said I will repeat the installation and build the standalone package again and report later here. I have done this many times over the years over a number of hosts, so it's no trouble repeating the steps but the fact that that issue cropped up just now and coincided with the update to 6.0.20 tells me that something changed somewhere along the way and the resulting build might be faulty somehow ... No clue so far.
  • How about the tarball? This is the recommended way to install zotero on a Linux system
