I cannot get any link between my browser and my libraries. Nothing wants to save. I don't know what to do. Getting very desperate. The problem started just before Christmas and it has not rectified itself.
I have tried another browser. I have no other installed extensions. Did the debug and none of the three messages came up. Have no idea what a new OS account is. Microsoft looked at it over Christmas and concluded that the problem was at your end. Would the Desktop Application be corrupted.
Again, we can't help unless you say what actually happened at each step — literally every single thing it says to try on that page. Remember that we can't see your screen.
I am trying to post what you want but I am unclear what it is you want. Please tell me what a new os account is? Do you think I should just close my account and try starting a fresh account?
I'm asking for the most basic troubleshooting process there is: go through literally every single thing on that page, copy and paste it here, and explain underneath, in your own words, what you did and what you saw on your screen before moving on to the next step. If you're having trouble doing that, ask someone you know to go through it with you and help you post here. but without that, no one here is going to be able to help you further.
An OS account is an operating system account. That's an advanced thing of last resort, and not something we can help with, but until you've actually told us what you've done, there's no point in trying that.
OK... I click on the icon, nothing happens, I right click and save through online.org facility. After 30 seconds the data appears on my laptop. Message appears on screen.

Is that on every page? E.g. same thing happens when you click the Save to Zotero icon here? And what does "save through online.org facility" mean -- that's not a Zotero menu entry. Please try to be as precise as possible. We can't actually see what's on your screen.
(But also, you make no reference at all to the linked troubleshooting or any steps listed there, which is rather confusing.)
But "Saving to zotero.org" means you haven't actually fixed the problem that we've been discussing this whole thread, which is getting the Zotero Connector to talk to the Zotero app. You just clicked the button that allows the Zotero Connector to save directly to your online library, which avoids saving to the app at all. That generally won't produce as good results as saving to the Zotero app and isn't a fix for this problem. You should restart your browser to reset that.
Again, if you're having trouble reading what we're saying and providing what we're asking for, you should ask someone to help you and post here with you. But I can't really be more clear than I was in my previous message about what we need. You seemed to understand that I was asking for something different last night, and then followed up this morning with no mention of the troubleshooting page whatsoever. So yes, ask your librarian to read our posts and help you respond with the appropriate troubleshooting information.
to fix a problem with Primo 18
This has nothing to do with saving specific sites.

I can't say this more clearly, and you're just not doing it. I don't know why, but I can't spend more time on this — this is a waste of your time and ours. Ask your librarian to read this thread and post here on your behalf. We'll work with your librarian once we hear from them. Further posts of yours until then will be deleted.
(And for the record, your debug output shows a normal Zotero startup with "HTTP server listening on 127.0.0.1:23119". But that's just one of the many steps on that page.)

The connector was not communicating with the Desktop application.
What is a new OS account?
Except create a new OS account because I don't know what that is.
I am quite aware that you can't see my screen...
Please tell me what a new os account is?

Saving to Zotero.org
I go in through Bodleian Solo.
It happens every time.
Perhaps I should speak to my Librarian.
So sorry that it is not remotely what you asked for but I am doing my best to fix a problem with Primo 18 that wasn't there before December.
