How much storage do I need?
I know that this exact question has been asked before but I am not sure I have found what they suggested.
I am using Zotero at work (Windows) and home (Mac) and have asked for my employee to pay my upgrade. This has been approved but I need to determine which package to buy. It has been brought to my attention that switching to a bigger package is always possible with Zotero, but this is not an option with my employer. Is there a way to dertermine this?
The whole Zotero folder on the Windows laptop has 776MB. Is this what I am supposed to look for? Also, the storage has been full for quite some time now and I have added sources on both computers meaning that there are pdfs on the Mac that won't get synced to the Windows and vice versa. Does this mean, that the actual necessary storage is larger?
Thanks already in advance!

adamsmithIf you want to be really conservative, add the size of the storage folder (doesn't need to be the whole Zotero folder) on both Mac & Windows together and then add a reasonable buffer at the top. E.g., if you're at 700 on Windows and 500 on Mac, you probably don't need more than the 2GB subscription. If you have >1GB on the Mac, you probably want to go with 6GB to be on the safe side.
